Follow up to the truth in aging

Well, it's great to see that some of you are reading my blog post, thank you for that! I had a few readers ask if there's a product that I would recommend based on the information in the last posting?
We all know as with most things not one suits all. We are all seeking to improve various things and we have different skin types and conditions. So to choose one anti-aging or wrinkle cream, I really wanted one that would suit most everyone. I think Bioelements Sleepwear is just that. Makeup tips and tricks Are you in a makeup rut?

Do you follow the same makeup routine everyday, regardless of occasion or season?

Do you always buy the same lipstick shade?

If you answered yes to any one of these questions maybe you are in a tiny rut! Here are some tips and tricks to hopefully inspire you.

1. Remember cosmetics and skin care have expiration dates.

2.To keep lipstick from bleeding outside the lipline,trace just outside their border with a concealer that matches your skin tone and blend with a sponge.

3. A general rule on selecting color: The more yellow your skin, the warmer your makeup should be. Stick with either cool or warm throughout your face at any one time.

4. Invest in a good set of brushes. Clean them with a mild facial cleanser and lay flat on towel to dry at least once
monthly.

5. Buy a heated eyelash curler. Works by warming the lash to a curl rather than bending them harshly and causing some loss. The heat is very mild and safe. Ulta or Sephora has them.

6. Concealer is a girls best friend. Remember though not a highlighted something that matches your skin tone. Always get a good blend.

7. To lighten and lift the eye apply a highlighter on and around the lid. Be sure to carry to brow and positively make sure that you blend well. It gives the illusion of lifting the eye and neutralizes skin tone.

8. If you have smaller lips create the illusion of fuller bottom lip by applying a dab of the same highlighter on the center of the lip and blend.

9. Fill in sparse areas on brow line with a feathering strokes of either pencil or powder. Not more than two shades darker than your hair color. The trend for brows is to have a fuller well groomed brow not pencil thin.

10. Find a shade of mineral base powder for your face by matching it to your jawline not the back of your hand as the two skintones are different. Think of a base powder as a skin protector rather than makeup and watch how it will protect and even out your skin beautifully.

After graduating from high school in 1980 I went on to do several different things {a jack of all and master of none as they say.} I studied general studies at Boise State University for two years. I followed school by many years in the airline industry as a flight attendant. It was while flying that I discovered my interest in makeup as it was a required part of my uniform. In 1994 I became a mom and had my beautiful daughter Nicole and a few years later my son Eddie arrived. My husband is currently a pilot and it's hard to be a family of two career travelers. So, I very happily have been grounded. After giving up my flying I went on to try many other things looking for the next chapter. I resumed my studies in speech and communications at Mesa Community College. During this time I was hired to do event makeup artistry for Elizabeth Arden in Phoenix Az. My husband's job relocated our family to Pa. and there I continued with studies in communications. at Penn State. I remained interested in artistry and made the decision to enroll in Lancaster School of Cosmetology for Esthetics. In 2008 I completed my training and became certified and licensed as an Esthetician. I completed further professional training for makeup artistry with

Los Angleses based Last Looks Makeup Academy specializing in bridal and event makeup. Simplicity, my skincare studio evolved the summer of 2011 which offers skincare treatment, makeup, and nails.
